Playing New and Old Supertips

Every tip a viewer sends is queued on the Creator Dashboard Panel, ready for you to play on your stream. This article covers playing brand-new tips from the Unplayed queue and replaying tips from the Played queue.

Tips that have not been played yet appear in the Unplayed queue. Once you play a tip — or mark it as read — it moves to the Played queue.

Playing new Supertips

When viewers submit a tip, it appears on the Creator Dashboard under Unplayed.

Note

You can only play a tip from the Unplayed queue when you have an overlay connected in your browser or streaming software. The overlay’s connection state (Connected or Disconnected) is shown in Overlay Settings.

A tip also will not play if your connected overlay does not include a layer for that tip type. Use the layers panel in Overlay Settings to add or remove layers.

To play a new tip:

1. Select the Unplayed button.
2. Select the Play button next to the Supertip you want to play.
3. The tip launches in the player at the top of the Dashboard Panel screen and plays for viewers through your overlay.

Tip

Image tips in the queue show a thumbnail of the uploaded or generated image. Hover your cursor over the thumbnail to see a larger preview before you play it.

Note

Once a tip has been played it moves into your Played queue. Select the Played button to see the tips you have already played.

Playing old Supertips

Tips that have already been played — or marked as read — appear in the Played queue. You can replay any of them at any time.

To replay a past tip:

1. Select the Played button.
2. Select the Play button next to the tip you want to play.
3. The tip launches in the player at the top of the Dashboard Panel screen and plays for viewers through your stream overlay.

Note

You can move a tip back to the Unplayed queue by selecting the Mark as Unread icon next to it.
